Sisters In The Spirit, Inc.

The mission of Sisters In The Spirit (SIS) is to embrace each other in God’s love. We encourage and up-lift our sisters and brothers as we encounter the troubles of life. We know that Jesus healed the sick, ministered to the broken hearted and gave good news in a very troubled time. The religious leaders themselves were blinded by the conditions of the time and were also in need of an awakening. The ritual bath and the animals for sacrifice became a way for the religious leaders to control the people and to profit from the law during that time. We see similar situations today and desire to be like Jesus by providing support to the people without thought of money or fear for our lives. We pray for and support those around us and by so doing we are also blessed. We focus on the truth of God’s Grace and Mercy during a very difficult time in the history of this world.

Currently in Brooklyn, New York seven sisters have collaborated together by the spirit to do the work, individually and collectively as the Spirit leads. We allow God to order our steps daily, and through this yielding to His Holy Spirit, God has moved in wonderful ways to bless, protect and provide for His people. You join us by letting God use you to reach out to those around

you and sharing how God has inspired and used you or someone you know to bless His people.

Prayer request or words of inspiration can be e-mailed to: allcatherine.summors@gmail.com

We pray each morning and will include all prayer request.

Where do you plan to spend eternity?

What a interesting question. The point is we are all going to spend eternity somewhere... But, no one wants to spend it in hell

Jesus speaks about hell in Luke 16. One rich man dies and goes to hell. In hell the rich man, cries out to Abraham when he sees Lazarus resting in his bosom. Realizing that he is in a state of torment he desires that Abraham who he calls father send Lazarus to dip his tongue into some cool water. Abraham reminds the rich man that he was privileged in his lifetime to have provisions whereas, Lazarus was a poor beggar who suffered evil.

Abraham explains that there is a great gulf in which neither can neither can pass and thus the torment of the rich man and the comfort of Lazarus as already been determined. It is then that the rich man asks that information about hell be shared with his living relatives. He is careful to mention that since they have not listened to Moses or other Prophets that he wanted them to hear first hand from him. He wanted them to have the chance to repent and avoid the torment of hell.
In Luke we get a clear picture of who goes to hell and when(after you die) and the eternal state of life after death. The point is we are all going to live eternally but the question is where!

"WHERE THEIR WORM DIETH NOT,AND THE FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED"

Jesus mentions the above quote three times and the following scripture which is so self-explanatory that it needs no embellishing.

Mark 9:43-48 (King James Version)

43And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

44Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

45And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

46Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

47And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:

48Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
